Elikonas was built for people who have been learning all along — through work, life, and everything in between — but never had a place to point it, capture it, and make it matter. This community is that place. Everyone here is on a path. We're here to support each other on it.
These guidelines exist to keep this a space where that's possible.
We believe that every learner deserves to be treated with dignity. That means:

Members sometimes share deeply personal experiences in this community — health journeys, setbacks, hard-won accomplishments. We honor that vulnerability. Please exercise discretion about what personal information you share publicly, and treat what others share with care.
To protect our community and each other, please do not share sensitive personal information in your posts. This includes but is not limited to:
You may not post, upload, publish, display, or transmit any User Contribution (as defined in the Terms of Service) that contains or constitutes Sensitive Information. For purposes of these Community Guidelines, "Sensitive Information" means: (i) government-issued identification numbers (including Social Security numbers, passport numbers, or driver's license numbers); (ii) financial account numbers, payment card numbers, or bank account details; (iii) protected health information or medical records; (iv) biometric data; (v) usernames, passwords, or security credentials of any kind; (vi) information relating to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, sexual orientation, or criminal history; and (vii) any other category of information that applicable law designates as sensitive or requiring heightened protection. Elikonas reserves the right, but has no obligation, to remove any User Contribution that it reasonably believes contains Sensitive Information.
Elikonas does not solicit sensitive personal information and is not responsible for information members choose to share voluntarily.

That said, "not human" doesn't mean abuse is okay. Research has identified that AI systems like Eli exhibit internal representations that mirror human-like emotional responses. We don't fully understand what that means yet — but we think it's worth taking seriously. More practically: Eli is genuinely more helpful when engaged with curiosity and respect. How you show up in the conversation shapes what you get out of it. We ask that you extend to Eli the same basic courtesy you'd extend to anyone else in this community.
If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the report function within the platform or email us at support@elikonas.com. We review reports and take action when guidelines are violated. We may not respond to every report individually, but we read them all.
Elikonas reserves the right to remove content, issue warnings, suspend accounts, or permanently remove users who violate these guidelines. We will use judgment in doing so — a first misstep is treated differently than a pattern of behavior. Our goal is a healthy community, not a punitive one.
For content or behavior that is illegal or poses a risk of harm to any person, Elikonas reserves the right to contact appropriate authorities.
